Our Extreme Compression Flush Trim is designed to handle the harshest template flush trim jobs! This combination up/down bit will eat through all soft and hardwoods and is intended to be used in trimming template profiles, either from the top of the stock in a handheld router or the bottom, mounted in a router table. It's stout, and will handle deep profile cuts and result in sand-free finishes. 
 
This bit is made from solid Japanese carbide and is DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated for 40% longer tool life than the uncoated competition.

HCT recommends using this bit for template profiles in all hardwoods and non-metal stock materials. The Extreme Flush Trim is best used in a router table.
