High Country Tools was formed by a group of friends who became tired of paying outrageous prices for mediocre woodworking tools and supplies. We noticed that our competitors were more interested in grabbing cash than backing the CNC, maker, and small-business communities with quality and affordable tools and supplies - all while providing first-class customer support and service.

Our CNC bits are made from quality, solid Japanese carbide. All of our bits are coated in Diamond-Like-Carbon (DLC), which has been scientifically proven to increase tool life by providing a hard-as-diamond protective coating and low graphite-like friction coefficient between the tool and stock material. DLC has become an industry standard coating for a wide variety of stock materials including woods, non-ferrous metals (aluminum/brass/etc.), composite materials (plastics/resin polymers), and even ceramics.
